Azil Organic Alhagi Manna
Alhagi maurorum has been used locally in folk medicine as a treatment for glandular tumors, nasal polyps, and ailments related to the bile ducts.
Azil Organic Alhagi Manna
It is used as a medicinal herb for its gastroprotective, diaphoretic,
diuretic, expectorant, laxative, antidiarrhoeal and antiseptic properties,
and in the treatment of rheumatism and hemorrhoids.
The plant is mentioned in the Qur’an as a source of sweet Manna.

In the folk medicine of Iran, Alhagi maurorum decoction has been used for jaundice therapy.
Botanical name : Alhagi persarum Boiss. & Buhse
This manna not only possesses valuable medicinal properties but also could be considered as good sources of mineral essential elements. It has a wide traditional application in Persian folk medicine for treating fever, rubella, cough, pectoral aches and vomiting.
Nowadays, it is mainly used as a mild laxative and for treatment of neonatal jaundice in Persian ethnomedicine.
This Manna also is known as «Taranjebin».
