The environment’s day
June 5th, World Environment Day, is a pretext to remind humanity that the Earth can survive without us, but we cannot survive without the Earth. If humans are removed from the Earth, the Earth will quickly begin to rebuild itself, but if the Earth is destroyed, humans will quickly perish. Industrial developments are taking place at an unprecedented and remarkable rate, and the destruction of the Earth is happening at the same time with the same speed. The designation of this great day by the United Nations is a wake-up call for humanity, a warning to act before it is too late and to protect the earth, which is our only home, and has been damaged, but it still hopes that humans will fulfill their responsibilities to the earth. To save the environment from the challenges we are currently facing, it is expected that not only governments but also every single person living on the planet will take conscious actions. World Environment Day is an opportunity for contemplation, education, action, and global unity to save the Earth. World Environment Day is an opportunity for contemplation, education, action, and global unity to save the Earth. By holding workshops, campaigns, and Multiple conferences, various countries are trying to strengthen global responsibility towards nature and create awareness among everyone.
When we talk about the environment, it actually includes everything that surrounds us. Everything in our lives is connected to the environment in some way. All natural elements from the soil under our feet to the air that is everywhere, human elements which include everything that is man-made, biological, and ecological components such as ecosystems, food chains, and natural cycles, and biodiversity, fall under the category of environment.
The importance of the environment is further demonstrated as a source for providing vital resources for human physical and mental health, safety against natural disasters, and natural heritage for future generations.
The environment is a balanced system, and any excessive and unknowing interference by humanity can have irreparable effects on it. The most important and dangerous menace to the future of the planet is climate change, which is occurring rapidly. Some Factors, such as excessive consumption of fossil fuels, which has led to an increase in global warming, severe droughts, Unforeseen floods, melting polar ice caps, and the extinction of biological species, are included. Air and water pollution, water crisis and drought, destruction of forests and pastures, extinction of species, increase in waste and plastic, unsustainable urban and industrial development, and excessive consumption of natural resources are among the problems we face in the environment. Whatever the wheels of progress and advancement turn faster, the world moves one step closer to destruction.
We must remember that the Earth is our home and we must consider this the most valuable place that we can have. In order to be able to preserve this home, we must take a vital step, and that is to protect the environment consciously, intelligently, and carefully. Our actions, no matter how small, can be very effective and prevent a disaster from occurring.
Among the actions we can take to protect the environment are reducing plastic use, optimizing resource utilization, reducing car usage, planting trees and maintaining green spaces, using natural detergents and cleaners, and promoting a shift to sustainable lifestyles through education and awareness.
Remember that big changes always start with small steps. Every year, the United Nations chooses a theme to celebrate this important day, to draw more attention to the various aspects of the environment that affect our lives. The theme that the United Nations has chosen for World Environment Day this year is End Plastic Pollution.
Plastics have become a big disaster that threatens the Earth. Unfortunately, the Earth is getting closer to destruction every day due to human negligence and ignorance.
Plastics remain in nature for hundreds of years due to their non-degradability, and their tiny and harmful particles are absorbed through water and soil, which, in addition to causing damage to the agricultural sector, ultimately enter the human food chain, leading to hormonal disorders, neurological problems, and cancer. Plastic pollution leads to a significant reduction in biodiversity. In the process of producing or even destroying plastics, we are faced with a large emission of greenhouse gases, which ultimately leads to the thinning of the ozone layer and global warming.
Among the measures that can be taken to combat the use of plastic is replacing the use of cloth bags instead of plastic bags and also using reusable items such as cups, spoons, forks, and plates. For shopping, you can use items that do not have plastic packaging, or even if possible, use clothes with natural fibers and replace them with synthetic fibers. And when we are forced to use plastic materials, we should use appropriate methods to separate and recycle them.
We must start these changes with ourselves and take action today because even a minute is effective in protecting our environment.
Choosing organic products has a significant impact on reducing the consumption of plastic materials. The packaging of organic products is completely environmentally friendly and does not cause any harm to the environment. Even when we have to use disposable containers, the best thing to do is to use plant-based containers that are recyclable and do not harm nature.

Participating in campaigns can be effective in increasing public awareness and taking more conscious actions. You can also use hashtags for World Environment Day on virtual pages to increase this awareness globally and make everyone living in this world take responsibility for their behavior.
We owe it to nature, and it is our human duty to help preserve the Earth.
We at Salam Rouyan Rastak Company congratulate all lovers of the Earth on Environment Day and strive every day for the health of the Earth and humans to take a green and promising step towards a bright future by producing organic products.
