World Earth Day
Happy 50th anniversary of earth day.
World earth day is one of the most important global events that is held every year in all countries to raise awareness and education environmental issue and to promote a culture of land, protection and conservation.
Earth day is celebrated annually on 22 April. The Earth Day 2022 slogan is “invest in our planet”
This day is held twice a year, once during the spring in the Northern Hemisphere (April 22) and during the autumn in the Southern Hemisphere (which is the spring of the Hemisphere).
Living in environments polluted with various types of wastage, industrial and household ones, along with noise pollution, are all considered as a serious threat to the urban environment; Modern societies have all come to the conclusion that we need a clean environment in order to achieve growth and development. The philosophy of naming 22 April as Earth Day is to protect the earth from pollution and clean it of pollutants.
Environmental protection solutions
Trees are one of the most important and largest components of the earth. Therefore, in order to protect the environment, we should not cut down trees, but we should plant trees on different occasions. It is recommended that people reduce paper consumption, as large numbers of trees are cut down each year to produce a variety of paper, causing extensive damage to the planet. Also they can protect earth from some items such as plastics and plastic bottles by recycling and reusing them.
History of world earth day

A month later, United States Senator Gaylord Nelson proposed the idea to hold a nationwide environmental teach-in on April 22, 1970, and persuaded Pete McCloskey, a conservation-minded Republican Congressman, to serve as his co-chair. they hired a national coordinator who was Denis Hayes, a young activist.
