  • Chewy, sweet and pulpy! There are some
    differences between Iranian and Turkish figs
    that make Iranian figs superior. The level of
    moisture is very low in Iranian type and they
    are completely dry yet crispy and easy to chew
    on. Also, its low moisture content causes
    a very high shelf life. The taste of our figs is
    quite sweet and delicious, while the common
    Turkish figs flavor is a mixture of sweet and
    sour. Our local figs are characterized by
    different sizes and shapes. Figs are normally
    exported in dried form due to longer shelf life
    in these two forms.
